Matt Venuti – The AmeriCosmos Experience

Love Hope Center For The Arts and national touring artist Matt Venuti invites audiences to step beyond the familiar with The AmeriCosmos Experience, a 75-minute immersive multimedia event on Friday, May 22 at 7pm.
The performance is a masterclass in original cinematic visuals and live music, blending rare acoustic and electronic instruments with breathtaking video projections. Venuti, a veteran of both East and West Coast music scenes with many years of touring, uses live-looping with a highly expressive synthesized wind-instrument and a gamut of rare acoustic and electronic instruments to build lush arrangements and propulsive grooves to create an improvised soundtrack.
The visual narrative is equally grand: audiences will travel from the remote, majestic terrains of the United States—filmed by Venuti himself during his tours and National Park residencies—to the deep reaches of the galaxy and an exploration of Earth from above, courtesy of stunning imagery from NASA and the James Webb Telescope.
“This isn’t just a performance; it’s an immersion,” says Venuti. “By blending evocative live music with the natural world and the cosmos, I want to leave the audience with an entertaining yet profound sense of our shared interconnection.”
